For HR, Benefits & Workforce Leaders
Primary care access designed around the realities of a modern workforce.
Alderon Medical is developing employer primary-care solutions for organizations that want eligible employees to have a practical way to establish and maintain an ongoing primary-care relationship through a telehealth-first model.
Programs may support preventive care, chronic-condition management, appropriate same-day concerns, medication follow-up, transitional care, and coordination with local services when in-person care is needed. The employer relationship supports access; the clinical relationship remains between the patient and Alderon.
- Adult primary-care access
- Employer-defined eligibility
- Patient privacy preserved
Built for Workforce Decision-Makers
A B2B primary-care conversation for organizations evaluating access.
Alderon’s employer model is intended for organizations evaluating whether a telehealth-first primary-care option could complement existing benefits and improve practical access for eligible employees.
Benefits Leaders
Teams evaluating healthcare access, employee experience, eligibility, communications, and benefit integration.
Workforce Strategy
Leaders considering how primary-care access may fit within a broader compensation, wellbeing, or employee experience strategy.
Rural & Multi-Location Teams
Organizations with employees spread across locations where traditional office-based primary-care access may be inconsistent or difficult.
Small & Midsize Organizations
Owners and executives exploring a practical healthcare-access option without creating an employer-run clinical service.
Why Employers Evaluate Primary-Care Access
A workforce may have health benefits and still struggle to reach primary care.
Scheduling, distance, work demands, fragmented healthcare, and difficulty establishing with a traditional office can still delay routine care. A telehealth-first primary-care option may reduce some of those access barriers while preserving an ongoing clinical relationship.
Evidence-informed workplace health: The CDC Workplace Health Model describes coordinated and comprehensive approaches to workplace health that address health promotion, disease prevention, employee needs, organizational context, and ongoing evaluation.
Easier access to routine care
Virtual visits can make it more practical for employees to address appropriate health needs without automatically requiring travel to a medical office.
More opportunities for prevention
Screening, cardiovascular risk assessment, vaccination review, metabolic health, smoking cessation, and other preventive needs can be addressed before they become urgent problems.
Better continuity
Instead of treating each concern as an isolated visit, employees can have medications, chronic conditions, preventive needs, results, and referrals managed as part of a continuing clinical story.
A clearer path after acute care
Employees returning from an emergency department or hospital can have a place for medication reconciliation, recovery follow-up, referrals, testing, and transition back into ongoing care.
Employee Care
Employer primary care built around everyday health needs.
The exact services available under an employer arrangement depend on the final program structure, participating states, eligibility, contracting, and applicable insurance or membership arrangements.
Preventive Care
Age- and risk-appropriate screening, preventive counseling, vaccination review, cardiovascular risk assessment, and health-maintenance planning.
Chronic Conditions
Ongoing management of appropriate conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, cholesterol disorders, obesity, and other common longitudinal health needs.
Same-Day Concerns
Telehealth evaluation of appropriate nonemergency illnesses and symptoms with treatment, testing, follow-up, or escalation when clinically indicated.
Medication Management
Medication review, refill management when appropriate, response monitoring, laboratory surveillance, and medication-safety follow-up.
Transitional Care
Follow-up after hospital or emergency treatment, including medication reconciliation, recovery planning, testing, referrals, and care coordination.
Focused Health Programs
Access to appropriate Alderon programs addressing metabolic health, midlife health, sleep, healthy aging, connected care, and other defined health priorities.
The Alderon Model
Telehealth-first does not mean telehealth-only.
Employer primary care through Alderon is intended to use virtual care where it is clinically appropriate while recognizing that some problems require laboratory testing, imaging, an in-person examination, specialty care, or emergency evaluation. Alderon remains the clinical practice; the employer does not direct individual diagnosis or treatment decisions.
The value of the model is not forcing every problem onto a screen. It is giving an employee an accessible clinical relationship that can help determine the right next step and maintain continuity across those settings.
Connected care may include
- Secure telehealth visits
- Local laboratory coordination
- Imaging orders when clinically indicated
- Pharmacy and medication coordination
- Specialist referrals
- In-person evaluation when necessary
- Follow-up after outside care
Employer Partnerships
A program structure developed around the workforce.
Alderon can evaluate potential employer arrangements individually rather than forcing every organization into the same package.
Understand the workforce
Review workforce size, employee locations, benefit structure, access challenges, and the employer’s priorities for a potential healthcare program.
Define the model
Determine which Alderon services may be appropriate, how eligibility would work, and how the program would interact with existing health benefits.
Build implementation
Establish enrollment, employee communication, workflows, privacy boundaries, billing arrangements, and any agreed reporting before launch.
Support ongoing use
Employees receive access according to the final program design while Alderon maintains appropriate clinical follow-up and continuity of care.
Employee Privacy
The employer relationship does not replace the patient relationship.
Employees who receive care through Alderon remain patients. Their medical information is handled according to applicable healthcare privacy, confidentiality, and recordkeeping requirements.
An employer-sponsored arrangement does not give an employer unrestricted access to an individual employee’s medical record, diagnosis, treatment plan, medications, or confidential clinical conversations.
Program reporting is separate from clinical records.
- Individual medical records remain confidential
- Employer access is limited by applicable law and authorization
- Any program reporting is defined in the employer agreement
- Aggregate information may be used only when appropriate and permitted
- Clinical decisions remain between patient and clinician
Alderon’s public website is informational and is not used for clinical intake. Employers and prospective partners should not send employee-specific diagnoses, medications, medical records, or other protected or sensitive health information through the public Professional Interest pathway. Any patient-specific workflow must use the secure process Alderon designates for that purpose.
Availability & Contracting
Employer arrangements are developed individually.
Program details depend on the final arrangement.
Employer Health is being developed as an extension of Alderon’s broader primary-care model. Service areas, employee eligibility, pricing, implementation, payment structure, participating insurance arrangements, and included benefits may vary by employer and jurisdiction.
Alderon does not represent that every service described on this page is currently available to every employer or employee. Final services are defined through the applicable employer agreement and clinical availability at the time of implementation.
Where Alderon participates with an employee’s insurer, covered medical services are handled according to the applicable payer arrangement. Any separately structured employer or membership benefit must be designed so that covered services are not improperly duplicated or charged twice.
